Account & Data Deletion

Connect 1:17 Ministries respects your privacy and gives users of our mobile application the ability to request deletion of their account and associated personal information.

Request Account Deletion

If you have created an account in the Connect 1:17 Ministries mobile application and would like your account deleted, you may submit a deletion request at any time.

To request deletion, please contact us at:

Please use “Account Deletion Request” as the subject line and include:

  • Your full name
  • The email address associated with your account
  • A statement that you would like your Connect 1:17 Ministries app account deleted

We may contact you to verify your identity before processing the request to help prevent unauthorized deletion of another person’s account.

What Will Be Deleted

Once your request has been verified and processed, we will delete or anonymize personal information associated with your app account that is no longer required for legitimate ministry, administrative, security, financial, or legal purposes.

This may include information such as:

  • Your app account and profile
  • Contact information associated with your account
  • App preferences
  • Ministry or group participation information stored specifically within your app account
  • Other personal information collected through your use of the application that is not required to be retained

Information We May Need to Retain

Deleting your app account does not necessarily require Connect 1:17 Ministries to delete every record associated with your relationship with the church.

Certain information may be retained when reasonably necessary or legally required. For example, we may retain:

  • Charitable contribution and donation records
  • Financial and transaction records
  • Records required for tax, accounting, or legal purposes
  • Information necessary to protect the security and integrity of our systems
  • Records that the church has a legitimate administrative or ministry need to maintain

Information retained for these purposes will no longer be used to provide your deleted app account.

Processing Your Request

We will review and process verified deletion requests within a reasonable period of time and in accordance with applicable law.

Once an account has been permanently deleted, access to the account and information associated exclusively with that account may not be recoverable.
